エジプト神話の神々　Egiptian Gods

　エジプト神話は、ナイル川の恵みとともに育まれた古代文明の宗教世界であり、数千年にわたって独自の神々と宇宙観を発展させてきました。
　太陽神ラー、冥界の王オシリス、母なる女神イシス、死者の守護者アヌビスなど、人と動物の姿が融合した神々の姿は、古代エジプト文化を象徴する強烈なイメージとして知られています。

　エジプトでは神殿壁画や彫像だけでなく、近代になってから発行された多くの切手にも、こうした神々や神話的場面が描かれてきました。小さな切手の中には、古代の宗教観、美術様式、そして神々の象徴的な姿が凝縮されています。

Ancient Egyptian mythology developed along the Nile and formed one of the world’s most distinctive religious traditions. Gods such as Ra, Osiris, Isis, and Anubis—often depicted with both human and animal features—became enduring symbols of the civilization.

These deities and mythological scenes have also appeared on many modern Egyptian postage stamps, where the artistic style of ancient religion is condensed into small, detailed images.

In this section, Egyptian gods are introduced through these stamps, while figures such as Anubis, Thoth, Set, and Horus will also be familiar to players of the Shin Megami Tensei series.
